Jib works pretty well, impressed for the price

Jib works pretty well, impressed for the price. Tilt & Pan works well, lock is decent. Whole jib feels solid. I put a Red Epic on the head end, 35lbs of weights on the other end, felt safe and solid.

  • Is a tripod included in this set?

    No, a tripod is not included. You can use P-WV-2SD, which comes with both the tripod and dolly.

  • Can this mount to a mitchell tripod?

    Yes, the Jib can work with Mitchell tripods. We recommend the following adapter kit to attach the Jib to tripods with Mitchell mounting.

  • Can the telescopic arm be extend whilst filming, in a similar fashion to a sliding rail?

    No, telescopic arm cannot be extended whilst filming.

  • Does the counterweight bar accept standard one-inch barbell weights?

    Yes, the weight bar included with the Proaim Wave-2 is designed to work with standard barbell weights. It will work with 1" + weight sizes.

  • How would I connect the Proaim to a KUPO Heavy Duty stand with a 29mm receiver?

    It is not compatible with the KUPO Heavy Duty stand with a 29mm receiver.

  • Does the explorer pro pan tilt head work with the wave-2 jib?

    No, the Explorer pro pan tilt head is not compatible with the wave-2 jib. But you can buy the PT-SR pan tilt head which will be compatible with the wave-2 Jib.

  • Can you attach the Zhiyun Crane 3S gimbal to the Wave-2 and if so which adapter is necessary.

    Yes, You can mount Zhiyun Crane 3S gimbal on Proaim 7' Wave-2 Jib with the help of Flycam Quick Release DJI-QR and Proaim Quick Release plate P-QRG.

    Yes, You can mount the DJI RS3 PRO on P-WV-2 (Wave-2 7ft Jib) with the help of QR-WV-710 and P-QRG.
    Firstly you have to mount the QR-WV-710 on the Jib and then P-QRG, and then you can easily mount your DJI RS3 PRO.
